So I had a really busy day today! It started out with my mommy exercise class. I had no energy and didn’t really want to work out but I made myself go anyway. The class was hard as usual but I am glad I went, I do feel better when I exercise.
Then we found out that Celt’s mom had to change her plans to come here this week. She is actually arriving tomorrow instead of Thursday! Oops… well that is a bit of a problem since we were supposed to have a show tomorrow night! So I had to cancel that one and rescheduled it for tonight 11PM. I sent a newsletter out to everyone to let them know.
After that I had to get ready for a photoshoot I got hired to do. I was going to get paid 75$ an hour instead of 100$ but would get to have the photos to use on my site. The guy was only going to hire me for an hour though, bummer. Now, getting ready for a photoshoot is quite the task ok? Let me explain… First shower, wash hair and shave everywhere (I like a bald pussy and that is also the way Celt loves it most!). Then moisturize the legs, whitened teeth, put nail polish on my toes. Then blow dry my hair with rollers and all and apply heavy make-up with fake eye lashes. Make a suitcase of different outfits and shoes requested by the photographer, bring body lotion, make-up, hair spray, brush and fake nails to apply there.
Ok maybe that doesn’t sound like a big deal, girls do this every day after all right? Well remember I am a stay at home mom… I don’t have time for that shit most of the time! Yes that is my unglamorous reality! LOL
So a few days ago we had confirmed the shoot for 3:30pm, he sent an email with his requests yesterday and I replied today that is was ok but I still didn’t have the address. Time comes to leave, still not address. So I call him, leave a message. He calls me back at 3:30 and says that since he didn’t get a reply from me yesterday then he didn’t know if it was on and he just got home and we will have to reschedule. WTF? We talked back and forth all week confirming the day and time. Wasn’t that enough? I spent hours getting ready for this and it is freaking canceled?
