Is it Summer in Quebec?

In California it can get too hot in the afternoon but at least it is dry heat. In Kentucky it’s been pretty good except for when the humidity is over 90%.
But in Quebec… is there even a summer here? I can’t believe how shitty the weather is here right now. I brought only shorts and t-shirts and I am freezing! Not only is it cold, it also has been raining for 3 weeks! That really sucks for them especially when considering the crappy winter they had (over 15 feet of snow, they broke all the records).
I had lunch with my mom today. It is kind of hard to see her, which is really a shame, I can’t go to her place because she and her boyfriend smoke and she can’t come to my brother’s because first, he lives far from her and second, her and my sister in law don’t get along. So we always have to meet at a restaurant or someone else’s place.
I did go shopping a bit but the mall was a zoo so we didn’t stay long and I didn’t buy anything for myself.
