Two plus Two… HUH?

As I mentioned a few weeks ago I am going to take classes in College this year. Before I could enroll in any class, the school wanted me to take a placement test. Basically they just need to make sure that I can read, write and count.
I haven’t been to school in over 13 years and haven’t done any math in over 20! I do know that I suck in math that’s not a secret. I tried to do calculus 3 times when I was in College and had to quit every time cause it was like Chinese to me. So I pretty much expected my test to be real bad in math. I wasn’t sure about the reading and writing either since English isn’t my first language.
So I took the test today. I got a 93 percent in Reading (not bad for second language I think) and a 99 percent in Writing! Awesome! I am at college level in both of those! Math was a different story… I got 75 percent in Pre-Algebra (better than I thought!) and 18 percent in Algebra. I really tried to remember how to do Algebra during the test but couldn’t quite figure out as you can see with my score!
Now I have to make an appointment with an advisor and let me guess, he will tell me that I need to take an Algebra class! LOL
