Running a Long Way

I was supposed to get up really early to go for my long run but I slept like crap last night so I turned off my alarm clock and slept in.
I have restless legs syndrome and my legs were hurting bad and I couldn’t stop turning around in the bed. So in the middle of the night I got up and went to sleep on the couch so Celt could get some sleep without having a crazy person kicking her legs in bed beside him.
So I had to do my run in the afternoon. I didn’t want to run 12 miles on a treadmill so I ran to do gym for 5 miles, bought a drink and ran 2 miles on the machine and then ran back home for the last 5 miles. It was pretty hot coming back and with all the hills I was pretty tired so I had to walk a little more than usual. Not too bad though as it took me just 3 minutes longer to do the same 5 miles as when I started. So that’s done! I feel great about it!
One more long run before our 1/2 marathon!
