Loading Up on Stuff

My dad got up at 5Am and by 6 he was ready to load the truck… But everyone else was still sleeping so he had to wait it out! LOL He didn’t wait long because our wake-up call was for 7Am so that everyone is ready to start moving furniture by 8AM. My brother and my dad are freaks when it comes to scheduling and organization! I wish I had a tenth of their discipline!
So, first they loaded the truck with the furniture I had at my brother’s. It took less than 2 hours. Then they took a break and off we went to the house I rent out. I have to admit, I was pretty scared to walk inside of it. My tenant is NOT a clean or organized person. He let the grass grow all summer long and never cut it even after me asking him to do so repeatedly. So I was not looking forward to see the inside of the house. And just like I thought, it really sucked and was really depressing. It is full of stuff everywhere, boxes never emptied even though he has been there for 1 year and it looks like he never cleaned in the past year either. My beautiful house now looks like total shit.
It took about 4 hours to load the truck of the stuff I had in the one room. And good thing we had a 26 foot truck too otherwise I would have had to leave some things behind. After we finished we just had to celebrate by having a big poutine at Ashton.
Celt started the long drive towards Kentucky around 4PM. Up until that time I was still trying to decide if I should go with him or take a flight back. I even called him 10 minutes after he left to ask him to turn around and pick me up but he didn’t hear his phone. I really felt like crap about not going with him but we thought it would be too hard on a toddler who just wants to run around all the time. So I stayed behind but it made me feel very sad.
