Couch – SOLD!

As you probably know by now, I have moved my stuff from Quebec to Kentucky at the beginning of this month. Among the things were a couch and love seat that we decided to use instead of the ones we currently have.
So we brought them upstairs (and it was a real bitch to move!) and took the old couch and chair down (another bitch job) in the garage.
Since even before we moved everything from Quebec, I have been trying to sell my couch on Craigslist but hadn’t been successful. Until today! One woman was real interested in it but wanted to pay 1/2 of what I had listed it for. I told her if I didn’t sell it at that price, I would come down every week which I did and after over a month it was down to $200 and she bought it!
So it is finally out of our garage and I am real happy about that! But I do feel like an idiot because the first week I had it up for sale, someone came over and offered me $300 for it but I said no cause I had a better offer at $400 from someone who promised to mail the money right away. Yeah right! Ok I was a Craigslist virgin and I had to learn from my mistakes! Lesson learned… if someone offers money now, take it!! So I lost $100 with that mistake, but I am smart now and will not get screwed like that again!
Bye bye my couch! I really liked it and it was real comfortable so I am kind of sad that it is gone. But the ones we have now are better quality and I think they look better. Here are the pics I used on my listing…
