Boo-Hoo! I don’t like the last day of the year. I find it extremely depressing. So needless to say my mood was shit for most of the day. It actually started not too bad and went downhill from there.
I can’t help myself. Comes December 31st, my mind automatically starts reviewing the past 12 months with a critical eye. And I always focus on the bad stuff. I think about all the things I didn’t do or didn’t finish, all the ideas I had but did nothing about them, all the good intentions that remained well, just intentions.
So what did I really accomplish in 2008? First let me say it is really hard for me to find anything positive about myself when I am in such a crap mood but I guess I will try…
I guess I can say that I went from totally out of shape to running a 1/2 marathon with a PR (personal record). And then continued training and ended the year with 11 days left before my goal race, the marathon. While training for these races I also lost all the baby weight I had put on while pregnant in 2006. In fact I am actually 2 pounds lighter then when I got pregnant. Not that I am happy with my body though, that, I don’t think will ever happen.
In 2007 I wanted to go back to school but did nothing about it. However in 2008 I did start school again and successfully completed my first math class. Mathematics has always been my nemesis so I was really proud (and relieved too) to pass the class with flying colors! I got an A since my grade for the whole semester was 100%! Not too shabby! 
I have to add that it was just a remedial class so the real challenge for me will come with the next math class!
Ok, well I can’t really think of anything else I accomplished in 2008 that would be worth remembering. So I will just move on to the next part of my day.
We decided to cook our Christmas dinner tonight. Celt made beef tenderloin and scalloped potatoes and I made the pecan pumpkin pie. I got really pissed when I thought for sure I had ruined it but in the end it turned out OK after it was cooked. Celt’s meal was amazing! We are definitely keeping those recipes and I hope we make them often! LOL
Anyway, so my mood improved quite a bit during dinner, maybe because of the champagne but hey anything that will help is good with me! After dinner we relaxed a bit and watched TV and when it was 11:30PM I took Celt to the bedroom, undressed him and got on top of him to kiss his lips and rub my body on him. I even used my new crazy sex toy I got for Christmas. We ended up having anal sex (cause I was in the bad time of the month, how convenient) and I had an orgasm in 2008 and another one in 2009! Yesterday evening Celt and I did our Christmas night. Finally! Santa wasn’t busy at all on the 29th so he brought me a bunch of gifts! LOL
It was a lot of fun opening gifts and watching Celt open his! I got perfume, jewelry, make-up, clothes, books, magazines, lingerie and of course a sex toy! I even got an iron to crimp my hair! For those of you who have been with me for a long time, you might remember the days when I used to crimp my hair regularly. I loved that look (and still do) but couldn’t do it because of course, my crimp iron is in storage. But now I have another one!! hehe I am looking forward to use it in my hair again!
So yesterday for the special occasion I wore the hot leather pants that Celt bought for me last week at a consignment store. They are from Wilson Leather and I am pretty sure they were never worn because the little gel packs were still in the pockets. We paid $25 for them! What a deal huh? Anyway so here are a couple pics of me wearing them!
We went to bed way to late, around 2AM, yes it took us that long to go through all of our gifts. We really like to go crazy for Christmas even when on a budget! We did real good for our little budget this year I think! I still felt totally spoiled and didn’t feel like I was missing out at all so that worked out pretty good! Merry Christmas to everyone! I am a lucky girl! Yes because I have a few members and fans that like to send me gifts once in a while! And today I got two!
One of them is a beautiful bra from Bendon Lingerie, one of my favorite brand of lingerie from New Zealand. I don’t have pictures of me wearing it yet because the panties that go with it will arrive a little later as I have to order them tomorrow. I can’t help myself, I just have to have the whole set! It is so beautiful!
The other gift was a hair clip! I had one similar to this one that I got in Hawaii last March but I stepped on it by mistake and it broke in 10 pieces so I was thrilled when I saw this one in the gift box! It looks pretty nice in my hair huh?
Another member also got in touch with me saying he is sending me something as well! Exciting! I can’t wait! I really do appreciate all the presents guys! They make me feel real special! It feels like someone actually gives a shit about me other than my husband, you know? It really puts a smile to my face! Thanks lots!!

I am home alone and kind of bored. We haven’t even done Christmas yet. Maybe we will just skip it this year! HAHA No way man! I want to know what I am getting for gifts! lol
This year, for my Christmas decoration, I bought some poinsettias at the grocery store instead of the nursery. They were cheaper and my budget being quite small I thought they would work just fine. They did look good on my furniture for a few days. Then one of them started to loose its leafs and then pretty much died. I waited until it was just branches before throwing it away, I guess I was still in denial! But yes, it is really really dead. That’s what I get for buying the cheaper chicken (reference from a movie, I hope you get it…).

Before Celt left for work today, he brought up the suitcase from the garage with all my sex toys in it. I am glad Christmas has passed but I am looking forward to the 28th when Celt and I will do our own little celebration. I hope he will be happy with the gifts I got him and I can’t wait to see what he bought for me!
I was thinking about my family yesterday and today. I never realized how different they were until I met Celt. In my family there isn’t really any traditions during the Holidays. I remember just getting together with our uncles and aunts for dinner on my father’s side and on my mom’s side they would play music, dance, smoke and drink a lot. On my dad’s side they would watch sports on TV, usually a hockey game. On my mom’s side they would watch the funny TV show for the end of the year just before midnight on New Year’s eve.
Being raised in a French environment also didn’t help. If I watched some sort of Christmas movie on my own, it was translated to French so I didn’t learn any of the references in English. I think we mostly watched other TV shows anyway (probably hockey) because I don’t remember ever watching any of the classic Christmas movies.
So this brings me to now. Celt and his family are always amazed at how little I know of the things most people consider common knowledge. For example, I never heard of Ebenezer Scrooge from the movie “A Christmas Carol” which I had never heard of either. Well we watched that movie while Celt’s parents were here because it is a tradition in his family. And all of the sudden I am getting a whole bunch of new references like “Bah, humbug”! I was watching Family Guy and they mentioned Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim and I got the reference! Then one of my members sent me an email which had “Bah, humbug” in it! I got it again! Even the new Shrek Christmas movie has a song with “Bah, humbug” in it. And now I know who Charles Dickens is too.
It is amazing isn’t? I wonder how many people in Quebec actually know these things. Have I led such a sheltered life when I was growing up? It appears so!
We also watched “White Christmas“, so now I know who Bing Crosby is. My classic movie education didn’t stop there… I also saw “It’s a Wonderful Life” in black and white! I am not sure what kind of references might come of it though. And finally, I also watched “Miracle on 34th Street“. Well I never knew that Santa Claus’ name is Kris Kringle! Can you believe that?
Truly amazing! I have so much to learn don’t I? Yes I guess my family is different. Not only in the things I didn’t learn but also in traditions and celebrations. We haven’t exchanged gifts in probably 10-15 years, not even cards and no one from my family even called me to wish me Merry Christmas this year. Well I am hoping to change all of that one day. I am starting small this year by sending them cards. Late mind you but still it is better than none. And next year, watch out. Cards and gifts for everyone hopefully!

I guess I should wish you all a Merry Christmas even though it is not really Christmas for me today. I hope most of you will have a great day! Please appreciate that you can be with family and friends during this time of year. And if you are like me, home alone, maybe because you live away from family or because your husband is working like mine or for whatever other reason, well then you are not alone in your solitude! The weather here in Kentucky is really weird! A few days ago it was so cold it felt like the North Pole… Today it’s pretty warm but raining like crazy. Tomorrow it is going to be 38F and Saturday 58F. So as you might imagine we often have to deal with icy conditions. Oh yes, it is so much fun to chip the ice off the car. We do have a garage but since we moved my things from Quebec there is no more room in it for a car… Anyway, the weather sucks! You can’t play in the snow and it is not warm and dry enough to enjoy being outside either. Very sad. It is a sad place here 
I did a bunch of errands today. It was raining cats and dogs so I put my hair up and didn’t care if it got wet. I managed to do almost all the errands on my list! That’s pretty good for me! I am not usually that efficient!
The gym is closed for the next 3 days so I am forced to rest some more. My lungs do feel better today so it was a good idea to take the day off yesterday.
I talked on the phone with my friend Quantum. He is a real smart man and explained to me why we are in such a mess economically. Not that I would be able to write it all here and make any sense though! Sorry! Actually it is kind of embarrassing that I wouldn’t really be able to explain it to someone else. Mmmm I wonder what’s wrong with me. Is this a language barrier, a memory issue, a lack of knowledge or am I just dumb?
I also texted with Maryanne a bit! For those who don’t know her, she is a real good friend of mine who use to have an adult site. I had a lot of fun (and sex) with her and her husband over the years. It feels exactly the same as a few weeks ago when the doctor told me I had bronchitis. So I read about it on the internet and it looks like with rest and plenty of water it might go away by itself. I doubt I will be that lucky but we will see. So I am drinking water today. Lots of it!
