Lost my Phone!

Ξ December 4th, 2008 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Chat |

I went shopping with my girlfriend this morning. We went to Home Depot and Kohls. I bought a Christmas mat for the entry way inside our place that says “Let it Snow”. It is very cute.

Anyway while I was in Kohls I reached into my pocket to check the time on my phone and the phone wasn’t there. So I looked in my bag and on the floor around me and nothing. I thought maybe I left it in the car so when we left the store I looked all over the car but it wasn’t there. So I went back to Home Depot and asked if someone found a phone but they didn’t. I went back to Kohls and still nothing. I looked all over the car, under the car, around the car and no phone.

Damn this sucks! I had to go home to get ready for school so I left and stopped at my girlfriend’s place to tell her that I lost my phone. I also tried calling it from her phone but no answer. I even left a message on it. I emailed Celt’s mom to ask if she could text him to let him know he won’t be able to phone me tonight.

I went to school and afterward I picked up my daughter at the daycare and had a message from my girlfriend waiting for me. It said that she found my phone! Yeah I was so happy! So I went to her place and she told me that after I left she went back to Kohls and Home Depot and someone had turned in the phone at Home Depot! They found it in the parking lot! I am so lucky and happy to have it back. It has a few extra scratches but no big deal!

The whole time I was thinking what if someone starts reading all my naughty text messages to Celt or my Twitter messages? That would be so embarrassing! Or what if someone makes a ton of long distance calls from it? It is pretty amazing how naked you feel when you loose your cell phone! I couldn’t talk to anyone, no one could call me. What if I had an emergency? We don’t have a house phone so I would have been shit out of luck to call someone to come help me huh? Well anyway, all is fine now! Ahh…. I must relax a bit tonight!
