Frigid Cold All Around

I am not entirely sure that the title of my diary today makes sense in English… What I mean by “frigid cold” is that it is fucking cold everywhere! HAHA
We left Florida today and that was very sad. Nobody likes to leave a nice vacation spot. Back to reality, no thank you. Why can’t we just stay here forever? On the other hand, it was really cold here today so going to a theme park would not have been as much fun. I really dislike to be cold, even a little bit. Our heating bill at home has been enormous the past few months and I am still cold most of the time! Argh…!
Anyway so when we got to Cincinnati, surprise surprise… COLD! Not just kind of cold but the coldest I have ever felt here. Good Lord, what the hell? Yes I know that it is a lot colder where I am from, in Quebec. But there you dress for it because you don’t have a choice. There is too much snow to be able to wear shoes, so you have to wear boots. Then you pretty much know that you are going to have to scrape your car for a while or shovel so you go ahead and bundle up with hat and gloves and a couple layers of pants, if not a snowsuit. But here, there isn’t any snow. It is just cold some of the time and almost hot some other days. So you never know what you are getting and that makes me under dress most of the time which makes me cold… And it sucks.
So we made it home and guess what? Celt had turned the heater off to save on the heating bill while we were away so the appartment was cold. Shocker! It took the whole day and evening to heat it up to a point where I wanted to take my second sweater off. Fun! NOT!
